A violet-black mushroom the height of a man, pale-gilled underneath, rooted in cave floor and utterly inert. It is blind, deaf and harmless. What it does is notice movement and light nearby and scream about it, until whatever else lives down there arrives to see why.

The shrieker has no offensive mechanics in the source; its alarm shriek is recorded as an explicit non-damaging entry so the empty attack list is no longer unexplained. CER and threat tier remain at the low end by design.
