Stunning ShockStunning Shock (14): Once per 5 seconds, the shocker lizard can create an electrical discharge that has a chance to stun an enemy. This is a ranged attack with 1/2D 10, Max 100, Acc 3, RoF 1, Shots N/A, and Recoil 1. It works at 1/10 of its range underwater. A struck victim must make an immediate HT roll with a bonus equal to half of his DR. The victim gets a further +3 if he is beyond 1/2D range. If the victim makes his HT roll, he is unaffected. If he fails, he is stunned (see p. B420). He may roll vs. HT once per second to recover (DR has no effect on this roll).14Once per 5 seconds, the shocker lizard can create an electrical discharge that has a chance to stun an enemy. Lethal ShockOnce per 5 seconds, whenever a shocker lizard has two other shocker lizards within 4 yards, it can create a lethal shock in a 4-yard-radius area around itself. This shock deals 2d burning surge damage and can work underwater. Targets stuck by this attack must make an HT roll, at -1 per 2 points of penetrating damage, or be physically stunned. On subsequent turns, they can roll HT to recover.2d burning4 yards

  • GCS ancestry draft: gcs/shocker-lizard.gct
  • Source template total: 12 points.
  • Library-rebuilt template total: 12 points.
  • CER was computed from parsed Typical Stats using the Dungeons On Automatic baseline CER path.
  • Issue #5: 1 special ability construction(s) restored (Lethal Shock) and 1 annotated with the source's stated cost. 2 save-or-disable construction(s) are scored through the affliction term at the source's stated point cost, or at Binding ST where the source builds the ability as a Binding.
  • CER recomputed from the reviewed Typical Stats through the canonical Dungeons on Automatic CER path: OR 16, PR 17, CER 33, threat tier standard.
  • Conversion baseline reported OR 11, PR 17, CER 28 (tier standard). The reviewed values come from the consumer CER implementation, which rounds damage once after the damage-type multiplier and credits ranged accuracy; the conversion baseline ceilinged the damage base first and ignored range.
  • Encounter metadata derived (gregarious): average number appearing 2, wandering weight 3. Encounter metadata derived for 0.2.0 from the reviewed threat tier and creature class (appearing: minor 4 / standard 2 / major 1 / severe 1, forced to 1 for solitary classes — including swarms, which are a single multi-body creature — and raised to 6 for gregarious minor creatures; wandering weight: minor 4 / standard 3 / major 2 / severe 1). The fan-conversion source states no appearing-in-numbers or wandering values, so these are derived, not source mechanics.
  • Lair, treasure, and grappling remain unpopulated in 0.2.0 by package policy: the authorized fan-conversion source states no lair, treasure, or grappling values, and review declines to invent them. See review/policy/0.2.0-empty-field-policy.md.
  • Review approved by automated-mechanical-review on 2026-07-26 (batch ee-2026-07-26-b4-special-mechanics); GCS fidelity check passed, DOA playability check passed.
  • Special-mechanics record. Mechanics the CER path cannot price are named per record in review/reports/cer-audit.md rather than folded into the number, and encounter counts are capped where a save-or-disable attack is present.
