A narrow, many-segmented amber-brown crawler about the length of a hand, armoured in overlapping plates and flowing along a wall without any legs to speak of. It is blind, and hunts entirely by body heat; the hooked mandibles at the front of its head plate carry a venom that a healthy adult usually survives.
